The artist I chose is Andy Warhol, a leading figure in the 1960s Pop Art movement and one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. Warhol was a gay man who openly expressed his queer identity in his life and art. Warhol was a devout Byzantine Catholic who maintained religious practices and was deeply connected to his Catholic upbringing.

El artista que escogí es/fue Andy Warhol, una figura destacada del movimiento Pop Art de los años 60 y uno de los artistas más influyentes del siglo XX. Warhol era un hombre homosexual que expresaba abiertamente su identidad en su vida y en su arte. Warhol fue un devoto católico bizantino que mantenía prácticas religiosas y estaba profundamente conectado con su educación católica.
