Salvador Dali inspired my art since middle school. I was fascinated with his artistic style of expressing his creativity in dreams. I attempted to recreate his work called The Elephants and by creating my own piece by drawing a giraffe. I also attempted to create a sort of different type of clock he used in his artwork called The Persistence of Memory.
Salvador Dalí inspiró mi arte desde la secundaria. Me fascinaba su estilo artístico para expresar su creatividad en sueños. Intenté recrear su obra "Los elefantes" y crear mi propia pieza dibujando una jirafa. También intenté crear un tipo de reloj diferente, el que usaba en sus obras, llamado "La persistencia de la memoria.”

My name is Andrew Velasco, and I’m in my junior year of high school. My favorite thing about creating art is experiencing new ways of making art like pottery or acrylic or even oil pastels.
